Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, disclose and process your data when you use our mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains the following, among other things:

Information regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy, which is an integral part of this Privacy Policy. When we refer to the Privacy Policy, we are referring to both the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy.

A. Responsible for Care

When this policy mentions “EsalmundoTV”, “we”, “us” or “our”, it refers to the entity Sport TV Portugal SA that is responsible for your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy (“Responsible for Care”).

B. Data We Collect

All personal data we collect relates to the provision of the App and its features and is divided into three general categories:

Data you provide to us

Data collected automatically

Data we obtain through third parties

B.1. Data obtained directly from you

We request and collect the personal data set out below when you use the App. This data is required in order to deliver content in a personalized manner and to enable us to comply with our legal obligations.

We process this data based on our legitimate interest in improving the App and providing the best experience to our users.

Using the App requires you to register and create an account and, when doing so, you must provide your first and last name, username and email.

Data We Collect Automatically

There is certain data that we collect automatically as a result of your use of the App, or through the use of cookies and other web analytics services, as described in our Cookie Policy . This information generally includes:

Connection Data - We automatically collect your connection data when you use the App, even if you do not have a registered account or are not logged in to your account. This data includes, but is not limited to: details about how you use the App (including links to third-party websites or services), IP (Internet Protocol) address, access times, browser type and operating system, device information, event information from the device (e.g. errors, browser type) and the pages you view or interact with before or after using the App.

Cookies – We use cookies and other similar technologies such as pixels, local storage and mobile device identifiers, and we also allow our business partners to use these tracking technologies in the App or engage others to track your behavior on our behalf. For more information about our use of these technologies, see our Cookie Policy .

Location Data - When you use certain features of the App, we may collect data about your general location (e.g. IP address). We use this data to provide location-based services (such as personalized ads and content). Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services for apps in your device settings.

Device Information - we collect information from and about the devices you use, including how you interact with the App and data about the device itself, such as your hardware model, operating system, IP address, cookie information, device settings, mobile device and advertising identifiers, installed apps, browser type, language, battery level and time zone. Apple’s iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and Google’s Android Advertising ID are examples of device identifiers. This data allows us to recognize and associate your activity and deliver personalized content and ads consistently across your devices.

Software Development Kits - We may use third parties, including our business partners and service providers, who use mobile SDKs to collect data and information related to how mobile devices interact with the Application. SDKs are computer code that developers can include in their applications to enable ads to be displayed, data to be collected, and related services and features to be implemented. Mobile SDKs are essentially the mobile application version of a pixel or beacon tag. We may use these technologies, for example, to analyze how you interact with content and ads and to enable analytics or other features through mobile devices.
